Henry R. Bartolameolli, 89, of Iron Mountain, passed away Friday, July 20, 2012, at Pine Crest Medical Care Facility, Powers.
He was born February 18, 1923, in Iron Mountain, son of the late Max and Viola (Fedrizzi) Bartolameolli. Henry grew up and attended school in Iron Mountain. He married Lucille Ruffatto, September 4, 1948, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Iron Mountain.
Henry served in the United States Army from 1943 until being honorably discharged in 1946. He worked for the Ford Plant a short while. In 1948, Henry went to work for the Peninsula Beverage Company, retiring from there in 1985.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Paisano Club. Henry enjoyed hunting, fishing, bocce ball and bowling.
Henry is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Lucille; one sister-in-law, Delores McCarthy, Livonia, Mich., and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by four brothers, Louise, Max, Albert, and Adolph Bartolameolli.
The visitation will be Tuesday, July 24, 2012, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Jacobs Funeral Home Iron Mountain. The Funeral Service will be Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Msgr. James Kaczmarek will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain. The Uren-Cooper-Johnson, American Legion Post No. 50 of Iron Mountain will accord Military Honors at graveside.
