Niagara - Helen Dorthy Zimmerman, age 83 of Norway Mich. passed away peacefully Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Mary Hill Manor, Niagara Wisc. Helen was an amazing Mother, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt.

She was born August 10, 1935, in Sagola to Robert and Dorothy (Hall) Bolster.

Helen was a CNA at Mary Hill Manor for fifteen years. Her gift was loving and taking care of people. She loved her family and did what she had to in order to raise her three sons. Helen attended many sports games and stock car races. She ran the concession stand at Norway Speedway from 2000-2004. As John, Paul and Joe grew up and started their own families, Helen continued to share traditions with her children and grandchildren. She loved cooking, baking, gardening and loving her huskies (Fritzy, Baby, Nala, and Honeybear).

Helen is survived by her three children, John (special friend Michelle Janczewski) Ostermann of Niagara, Wisc.; Joe (Tab) Ostermann of Norway, Mich.; and Paul Ostermann of Orlando, Fla. One brother Gerald Bolster and one sister Betty Schenk both of Iowa. She has many grandchildren, one great-granddaughter (Ava), many nieces and nephews and her dogs Nala and Honeybear.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, two brothers; Larry and Leroy, and three sisters; Rose, Pearl, andMary.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 6, 2019, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home-Niagara Chapel, Niagara, Wis. A memorial serive will take place Saturday, 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Michael Lightner will officiate.
