Crystal Falls: Helen M. Farley, age 93, of Crystal Falls, passed away Wednesday, March 17, 2004, At Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls. She was born September 13, 1910, in Crystal Falls, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Biswabic. She married Alvin Farley in Chicago, on June 25, 1945, and he preceded her in death on April 12, 2001. Helen enjoyed gardening, walking and playing cards. Survivors include a daughter Mary Ellen Farley of Downers Grove, IL, two brothers Michael Biswabic of Crystal Falls and Walter Biswabic of Ormand Beach, Florida, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Alvin, Helen was preceded in death by two brothers; Frank and John Biswabic, and three sisters Katherine Robichaud, Anna Worzala and Carol Hohmann. Private family visitation was held. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in the spring.
