Helen Virginia Angeli, age 95, beloved aunt, great aunt, and devoted friend, died peacefully Friday, September 29, 2006, at ManorCare Health Services in Kingsford, Michigan.
She was born October 5, 1910, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Lawrence and Domenica (Battista) Andreoli. On October 9, 1948, she married Julio Angeli. He preceded her in death.
Helen was in Viachie, Italy from 1912 – 1922, and then returned to Iron Mountain. She was employed as an inspector at the sewing factory for three years and at Woodland Manufactory for four years. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, soap opera's and watching television.
Helen's life was spent caring for others and will be dearly missed.
Survivors include a niece Anita (Jan) Bovee, Niagara; a nephew Clifford (Karyl) Andreoli, Madison, Wis./Spread Eagle; two great nieces, Denyl (Evan) Hewes and Trina Lee (Bryan) Gannon; six great nephews, Michael (Susan) Bovee, Martin (Robin) Bovee, Jon (Laura) Bovee, Larry (Lisa) Bovee, Aren (Evie) Andreoli, Aric Andreoli; 20 great great nieces and nephews; cousins, Robert (Mary) Furno and Marge O'Neal, Iron Mountain; and special friends, Olive Hinkley, Julia Cavicchioni, Tony Aimone, Jenny Koller, and Nelda Fornetti.
Besides her parents and husband Julio, Helen was preceded in death by two brothers, Aldo and Victor Andreoli,
Visitation will be Monday, October 2, 2006, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Prayers will be recited 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be Monday, 11:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Iron Mountain. Msgr. James Kaczmarek will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain...
