Grace A. Marcouiller, 90, of Oshkosh, Wis., formerly of Niagara, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 8, 2014, at Bethel Nursing Home, Oshkosh.
She was born February 21, 1924, in Lena, Wis., daughter of the late Phillip and Mable (Wright) Morstad.
Grace grew up in Niagara and graduated from Niagara High School. She worked for Kimberly Clark prior to her marriage to her high school sweetheart, Robert "Bob" Marcouiller on November 4, 1946.
She and Bob owned and operated, the Gambles Store in Niagara, which later became Bob's Sporting Goods and Hardware for over 30 years. She was an avid golfer and bowler, loved to travel, and spend time with her family, grandchildren, and friends.
Grace is survived by one son, Robert "Bob" Marcouiller, Houston Tex.; two daughters, Peggy (Dan) Barta, Rochester, NY and Mary Jo (Jim) Johnson, Oshkosh, Wis.; one brother, Robert (Lori) Morstad, Niagara; one sister, Donna Morstad, Verona, Wis.; six grandchildren, Tammi, Eric, Jessica, Jonathan, Garrett, and Paige; three great-grandchildren, Marriah, Grace and Sean and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, and husband, Bob, she was preceded in death by one brother, Phil "Bud" and sister-in-law Mary Ann Morstad.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 11, 2014, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Riverside United Methodist Church, Niagara. Funeral Services will be Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at the church. Rev. Jean Larson will officiate. Burial will be in Niagara Cemetery.
The family has chosen the Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel to honor Grace's Legacy of Life.
