Gordon J. Feldhausen, 89, of Iron Mountain, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at MaryHill Manor, Niagara, Wis.
He was born September 23, 1918, in Green Bay, Wis., son of the late Gordon and Mable (Geniesse) Feldhausen. He married the former Marion Napstad November 7, 1942, in Madison, Wis.
Gordon was a life member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, American Institute of Concrete Construction, and American Institute of Steel Construction. He was also very active in civic affairs including, city planning and zoning boards, and served 30 years on the board for Trico.
Besides his wife, Marion, he is survived by four sons, Nicholas Feldhausen, Green Bay, Michael (Sharon) Feldhausen, Iron Mountain, Paul (Cheryl) Feldhausen Milwaukee, Wis., Geoff (Judy) Feldhausen, Streamwood, Ill.; one daughter, Christine Feldhausen, Green Bay; one brother, John (Ellie) Feldhausen; two sisters, Lorraine (Richard) Rutten, Sandra (Dennis) Posey; 12 grandchildren; and twenty great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, September 28, 2007, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, at Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain and Saturday, September 29, 2007, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, at the funeral home. The funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, at the funeral home. Fr. Joseph Gouin will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain.
