Gladys Mary Williams, 76, of Iron Mountain, died Monday at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain.
Mrs. Williams was born, March 23, 1919, in Austin, Minn., daughter of the late Michael and Maude Finn.
She married LaVere Williams on September 1, 1956 at Mount Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain.
Mrs. Williams worked for Sackim Co. and Montgomery Wards for over 10 years. She attended Mount Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a past member of the American Legion Womens Auxiliary.
Mrs. Williams taught ceramics for many years and enjoyed bowling.
She was preceded in death by two daughers, Mary Allyn Gardiepy and Sharon Barker.
She leaves her husband, LaVere; two sons, Robert Williams of Kingsford and Byron (Shirley) Holmes of Waupan, Wis.; a daughter, Shirley (Ron) Larson of Jacksonville, Fla.; four brothers, Donald (Viola) Finn of Apache Junction, Ariz., James (Pamela) Finn of Milwaukee, Richard (Jean) Finn and Robert (Betty) Finn, both of Iron Mountain; two sisters, Ione Spigarelli and Darlene Kolier, both of Iron Mountain; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron Mountain.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Pastor John Holtz wil officiate.
Burial will be in Quinnesec Cemetery
