Iron Mountain: Germaine Jean Pedo, age 66, of Iron Mountain, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2004, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Iron Mountain. She was born April 21, 1938, in Menominee, Michigan, the daughter of Clarence and Anne (LaFleur) Bruso. She played in the band and graduated from Menominee High School in 1956. She attended Beauty School in Green Bay. Germaine married Robert Pedo in January of 1957, was married for 23 years and resided in Iron Mountain. She worked as a waitress and ran her own private cleaning business for many years. Survivors include her mother, Anne of Menominee MI, four sons Daniel Pedo of Iron Mountain, Steven (Hien) Pedo of Milwaukee, WI., Gary Pedo of Iron Mountain, and Mike (Yuseon) Pedo of West Orange, NJ; six sisters Mary Johnson of Marinette WI, Mona (Grant) Bright of Albuquerque, New Mexico,Marsha (Jack) Werlein of Sarasota, Florida, Dawn (William) Buzard of Menominee, Michigan, , Roana(Richard) Spross of Menominee, Michigan, Terri (David) Bahl of Waukesha, Wisconsin,; seven grandchildren Kristen, Nicholas, Joseph, Benjamin, Rebekah, Michelle, and David and her loving companion of over 20 years, William R. Oman of Iron Mtn. Germaine was preceded in death by her father Clarence Bruso. Visitation will be Thursday, September 16, 2004 from 5 - 7p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Prayers will be recited at 7:00p.m. Funeral service will be Friday 9:30a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow, 10:00a.m. at St. Mary and St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Iron Mountain. Fr. Dan Zaloga will officiate. Burial will be in Norway Township Cemetery.
