Geraldine E. Sepel, age 77, of Amasa, died Sunday, July 23, 2006, at the Iron County General Hospital, Iron River.
She was born January 24, 1929, in Crystal Falls, daughter of the late Gus and Esther (Jansen) Palm. On November 27, 1948, in Chicago, Ill., she married Vincent Sepel. He survives.
Geraldine was a secretary for the Cook County Board of Health, Chicago for 22 years and lived in Illinois for 37 years. In 1985 she returned to the area with her husband Vincent and made Amasa their home.
Survivors include her husband, Vincent Sepel, Amasa; two nieces, Linda Burg, Mukwonago, Wis., Karen Brodahl, ElPaso, Tex.; and one sister-in-law, Nita Palm, Mukwonago. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Emil Gustafson, and one brother, Russell Palm.
There will be no services. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls.
