George Joseph Freeman, 77, of Felch, MI, passed away on May 6, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center - Dickinson. George was born on October 29, 1948. He grew up in Niagara and graduated from Niagara High School.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin Freeman; his mother, Geraldine Morrow; and two brothers, Paul and John Freeman.

He is survived by his children, George (Kim) Freeman, Laura (Kirk) Fortner, and Kristi (Tom) Freeman, his sister Patty (Charlie) Gunville, and his brother Joseph Freeman. He is further survived by his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.

George was an avid hunter and loved spending time and telling stories at his old camp in Ralph.

In accordance with George’s wishes, no formal services will be held. The family will honor and remember him privately.
