Iron Mountain:
Genevieve May (Balsam) Zeutzius passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2004 in her Prescott, Arizona home after a long battle with Cancer.
Genevieve was born May 10, 1917, in Iron Mountain, the daughter of William and Anna May (Tregillis) Balsam. She attended Lincoln Elementary School, Iron Mountain High School and she later attended a Business College in Iron Mountain. She married Paul Edward Zeutzius in 1948. She was employed for many years at the former Fugere Brothers clothing store,
Genevieve volunteered in several capacities for the Campfire Girls in the 1950's. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She and her husband were members of the Dickinson County Pilots Association. She was also an avid bridge player who also enjoyed ceramics and calligraphy.
She leaves behind her Daughters, Paula Nault and Janis Stearns; Grandchildren, Dana (Nault) Beining, Alyson (Nault) Hess, Shannon (Stearns) Aspen, Heather (Stearns) Robinson and Kevin Stearns; also her Great Grandchildren, Seth Beining, Leah Beining, Hunter Robinson, Cassidy Robinson and Ethan Aspen.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Eileen (Balsam) Wobosel and Flora (Balsam) Dishaw.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 9, 2004, from 10:30 – 11:00a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 9th at the Jacobs Funeral Home at 11:00a.m. Rev. Meredith Rupe will officiate. Burial will be in Breitung Township Cemetery in Quinnesec.
