Iron Mountain-Gene R. "Geno" Pinheiro-Hebert, 42, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away March 1, 2021. He was born March 31, 1978, in New Bedford, Mass., son of Gene and Brenda (Szela) Pinheiro. Geno grew up in New Bedford and was a graduate of New Bedford High School. He was united in marriage to Lindsey-Rae Anderson on October 3, 2020. Geno was tough on the outside but was a cool, fun, down-to-earth man and altogether entertaining to be around. He lived his life on the wild side, showing everyone how crazy life can be. Geno loved tattooing and airbrushing. He protected everyone, and anytime someone was in a bind, he was right there to protect them. Geno was a great man and always will be remembered for that. He was a very good father and husband, who loved playing with his children, and will be very missed by his family. Survivors include his wife, Lindsey-Rae (Anderson) Hebert; two sons, Devon and Giovanni Hebert; two daughters, Rayha and Avangelea Hebert; two stepdaughters, Kayla Lopes and Falisha Parsons; his parents, Gene and Brenda Pinheiro; three brothers, Steven, Ralph, and Walter Hebert; three sisters, Tammy Pinheiro, Karen Hebert, and Brenda Hebert; one stepsister, Robin McHale; two godchildren; mother-in-law, Michelle Anderson; one brother-in-law, Dillon Lee Anderson; two sisters-in-law, Carina Anderson and Mari Elizabeth Moore; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Geno was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Robert Anderson. Visitation will be Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain, Mich. The funeral service will be Thursday, 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Kevin Sullivan will officiate.
