Aurora- Gary J. Beaudoin, 80, of Aurora, Wisc., passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at his home.

He was born October 4, 1945 in Dagget, Mich., one of two children born to Arthur and Elorine (McCleod) Beaudoin. Gary graduated from Escanaba High School and immediately joined the United States Navy. He was an Air Crew Radar operator serving two tours in Vietnam. Following his honorable discharge, he worked for major aircraft companies in California and Georgia.

Gary married Susanne VanPembrook in April of 1969. He went to college under the G.I. Bill and graduated in 1976. In 2006 he retired from the Maintenance Department of International Paper.

Gary enjoyed the outdoors and working on projects in his shop.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Susanne Beaudoin; one son, Mark Beaudoin (Michelle Smith) of Shakopee, MN; one daughter, Lisa (David) Erickson of Iron Mountain, MI; and by four grandchildren, Jovanna (Austin Cram), Keaton (Paige) Erickson, Kendal and Alyissa Beaudoin.
