Gail M. Walker, 66, of Florence, passed away Wednesday, January 08, 2014, at Unity Hospice, Green Bay, Wis.
She was born March 10, 1947, in Racine, Wis., daughter of the late Ervin and Hilma (Kujanpaa) Kugler. Gail grew up in Phelps, Wis., and was a graduate of Phelps High School. She married Edward L. Walker on November 17, 1966, in Fort Carson, Colo. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2006. They resided in Fort Carson for a year and a half at which time they moved to Hartford, Wis. They resided in Hartford from 1968 until 1973 when they moved to Aurora, Wis., and eventually Florence.
Gail enjoyed reading, gardening and especially spending time with her family. She loved her cat, Kit, who was her loyal companion.
She is survived by two sons, Gordon (Billie)Walker, Florence, William (Laura) Walker, Florence; one brother, Kenneth Kugler, Allentown, Wis.; one sister, Kay Kugler, Eagle River, Wis., one sister-in-law, Judy Carslon, Phelps, Wis.; six grandchildren, Morgan, Erin, Vanessa, Kristal, Max and Zack, and two great-grandchildren, Leah and Bentley.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ed, she was preceded in death by one brother James Kugler.
Visitation will be Friday, January 10, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Kate Shruba will officiate.
