Norway- Frank A. Niemiec, 75, of Norway, Mich., passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at the Oscar G Johnson VA Medical Center, Iron Mountain, Mich. He was born April 3, 1946, in Milwaukee, Wis., son of the late Edward F. and Sophie (Boduch) Niemiec. Frank grew up in Milwaukee and was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, class of 1964. He went on to receive his Bachelor's Degree in Art and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, Wis. Frank proudly served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge. He married Susan Meller on May 20, 1967. Frank worked as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service in Janesville, Wis., from 1979 until his retirement in 2007. After retirement, he and Susan moved to their piece of heaven on earth in Norway, Mich. Survivors include his loving wife, Susan Niemiec, Norway, Mich.; one son, Joshua Niemiec; one daughter, Chalyse (Tony) Schellinger; two grandchildren, Maija and Natalia Schellinger; two brothers, Michael (Edie) Niemiec and Ed (Phylis) Niemiec; six sisters, Anne (David) Kolb, Carol (Tom) Ness, Mary Niemiec, Terry (Dan) Wilk, Linda (David Black) Niemiec, and Laurie (Tim) Pezzi; two nephews, Craig (Rebecca) Ness and Andrew Wilk; and by four nieces, Kristin (Jim) Fallieras, Erica (Issac Skelton) Niemiec, Lisa (David) Morra and Sarah (Pete Puskas) Niemiec.
