Frank Hoenig, age 88, of Crystal Falls, Mich. died Saturday September 24, 2005 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. He was born December 5, 1916 in Ruma, Yugoslavia, son of the late Frank and Maria (Dilmetz) Hoenig. He married Katarina Sarkanj in Yugoslavia. She preceded him in death on September 12, 2002. Survivors include seven sons, Helmuth Hoenig, John Hoenig, Frank Hoenig, Jr., Peter (Julie) Hoenig, Gary (Kathi) Hoenig, Joseph Hoenig, Thomas (Amy) Hoenig; three daughters, Helga Lange, Rosie Hoenig, Mary Gustafson; 16 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held November 28, 2005 at 10:00a.m. at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls. The Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls is in charge of arrangements.
