Crystal Falls:
Frank Dollar, age 80, of Crystal Falls, MI and formerly of Florence, WI, died Sunday, April 17, 2005 at his home.
He was born April 12, 1925, in Fredericktown, Missouri, son of the late Victor and Ruth (Schwaford) Dollar. On August 30, 1947, he married Dorothy DeMark. She preceded him in death on December 3, 2003.
Frank was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and attained the rank of Master Sargent. He was a member of the Wisconsin Chapter Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3635 and American Legion Post No. 311, Florence WI. He was a Mason and a member of the Hiram D. Fisher F. & A.M. Lodge No. 222, Florence. Frank was a training instructor for the trade unions in the U.P. and a member of Laborer's International Union of North America Local No. 1329.
Survivors include his daughter, Linda Dollar of Crystal Falls; one grandson Trever (Jennifer) Dollar, Florence, two great grandchildren, Dillon Dollar and Cole Dollar; two brothers Victor Dollar of Seattle Washington, Jim (Mary) Dollar, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and two sisters Betty and Wanda of St. Louis, Missouri.
