Iron Mountain: Frank E. Corsi age 94, of Iron Mountain passed away Saturday August 27, 2005 at Manor Care Health Services in Kingsford. Frank was born on November 22, 1910 in Iron mountain son of the late Andrew and Antoinette (Gianunzio) Corsi. Frank was a lifelong resident of Iron Mountain and graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1928. He married Irene Nord on October 10, 1934 in Iron Mountain. She preceded him in death on December 1, 1999. Frank served in the U.S. Navy during WWII from 1942 until his honorable discharge in 1945. When Frank returned to Iron Mountain he worked out of his home repairing watches and clocks and was employed by Harris Jewelry as a watch maker and watch repairman. He also was employed by the City of Iron Mountain as Tax Assessor retiring in 1975. Frank was a past member of the Musicians Union, and life member of the Elks Lodge of Iron Mountain. Frank is survived by several Nieces and nephews. Besides his wife Irene, and his Parents,Frank was preceded by eight brothers, Joseph, John, Americo, Anthony, Alfred, William, George and Louis. Two sisters, Vienna and Vera. In keeping with Frank's wishes there will be no visitation or services. Burial will be in Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain.
