Niagara- Francis W. Antonissen, 69, of Niagara, Wis., passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at his residence.
He was born September 16, 1951, in Norway, Mich., son of the late Francis L. and Doris (Boullion) Antonissen. Francis was a lifelong resident of Niagara and graduated from Niagara High School, class of 1970. He worked for the City of Niagara in the Public Works Department and was a self-employed logger for many years. Francis later went to work for LR Vincent Trucking Company for a short time.
He enjoyed many hobbies, including hunting, fishing, riding his motorcycle, taking flying lessons, and it was his dream to own his own plane as flying really made him happy.
Survivors include his girlfriend and companion, Sara Miller, Iron Mountain, Mich.; one son, Brian Antonissen, Amberg, Wis.; three daughters, Amy (Glen) Hunter, Norway, Mich., Carrie Ann, and Jennifer Antonissen, Wallace, Mich.; two brothers, Steve (Debbie) Antonissen, Washington State, and Carl Antonissen, Niagara, Wis.; one sister, Linda Gordon, Niagara, Wis.; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 9, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home, Niagara Chapel, Niagara, Wis. A celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Lonnie Wilson will officiate.
