Obituary

Iron Mountain: Frances I. Koller, 81, of Iron Mountain, died Tuesday, March 16, 2004, in Kingsford, at the home of her daughter. She was born January 6, 1923, in Manistique, MI, daughter of the late Lloyd and Irene Martin. Frances moved to Kingsford as a young child. In 1945, she married George Koller and he preceded her in death April, 1977. She worked at the Dickinson Inn for many years, also for General Controls, Kresges and for the schools in the hot lunch program. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and going to the Casino. Frances is survived by one daughter Juanita (Jim) Weber of Kingsford, one sister Betty Schintgen of Pembine, two grandchildren; James (Anna) Weber of Kingsford and Jeffrey (Julie) Weber of Niagara, and four great grandchildren; Mark, Melissa, Sydney, and Joshua Weber. Besides her parents and husband George, she was preceded in death by three brothers Leonard "Buck" Martin, Robert "Bob" Martin and Raymond Martin. Visitation will be Thursday, March 18, from 5 – 7 P.M. at the Jacobs Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday at 7:00P.M. at the funeral home. Rev. David Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park in Iron Mountain.
