Iron Mountain-Florence R. Recla, age 84, of Quinnesec, Mich., passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich. She was born January 6, 1935, in Lansing, Mich., daughter of the late Leslie G. and Marjorie (Knappen) Parling. Florence grew up in Lansing and resided there until 1964 when she moved to California. In 1982 she moved to Quinnesec, Mich. Florence worked for a couple years at Trash & Treasure, AHIC Store on the Northside in Iron Mountain, and later at Tri City Cinema at the main entrance . Florence enjoyed quilting and crafting. Survivors include her three sons, Timothy Recla, Quinnesec, Mich., Richard "Jamie" (Clara) Recla, Marietta, Calif., and Christopher Recla, Quinnesec, Mich.; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandson, Danny. In addition to her parents and husband Richard, Florence was preceded in death by one daughter, Pam Mahan; two brothers, Leon and Leslie Parling; and by two sisters, Beverly Conrad and Joan Bloomfield.
