Niagara: Florence R. Kenville, age 85, formerly of Niagara, passed away Monday, October 17, 2005, at Huntington Place Assisted Living in Janesville, Wis. She was born October 31, 1919, in Niagara, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Rollo Steeno and Minnie Berger. She married Leonard Kenville on August 30, 1941, in Marinette, Wis. He preceded her in death in 1993. Florence graduated from Niagara High School in 1936. She was an office manager for Niagara School system for 26 years, retiring in 1981. Florence was a member of Oak Crest Country Club and the Bowling League for 40 years with the same people. Besides bowling, she also enjoyed knitting and golfing. Survivors include two daughters; Jane (William) Connor of Janesville, Wis., Judy (Michael) Welch of Falmouth, Mass., one brother Raymond (Lois) Steeno of Niagara, one sister Clarice Yunowich of Neenah, three grandchildren Kim Story, Paige Peeples, and David Peeples, and six great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband Leonard, Florence was preceded in death by a brother Alvin Steeno in 1995, and a son-in-law David Peeples. Visitation will be Monday, October 24, 2005, from 9:30-11:00a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home Niagara Chapel. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home Niagara Chapel. Pastor Pauline Rupe will officiate. Burial will be in Niagara Cemetery.
