Iron Mountain:
Flaminia Aimone, age 93, a lifelong resident of Iron Mountain, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2004, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital.
She was born on June 4, 1911, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Parlanti) Palluconi. She worked at the Dickinson County Court House in the Probate Court as a Probate Register for many years. Flaminia married Caesar Aimone on July 20, 1935. He preceded her in death on December 22, 1978. She was a life long member of the Immaculate Conception Church. She also belonged to the Daughters of Isabella, the Elks Auxiliary and the Iron Mountain Kingsford Women's Club for over 50 years.
Survivors include one son Anthony of Iron Mountain, three sisters Helen Will of Iron Mountain, Julia (Frank) Cavicchioni of Iron Mountain, and Olive Hinkley of Iron Mountain, one grandson Don L. Bangert Jr., one granddaughter Wendy (Jaret) Sahr and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband Caesar, she was preceded in death by her daughter Candy Aimone on July 10, 1999, and her only brother Angelo Palluconi on December 11, 1979.
Due to her long standing wishes, private funeral services were held Friday at Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church with Msgr. James Kaczmarek officiating. Burial was in Cemetery Park.
