FLORENCE, Wis. — Evelyn N. Minder, 83, of Florence, Wis. died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2002, at the Florence Villa Nursing Home in Florence. Evelyn was born Dec. 22, 1918, in Racine, Wis., daughter of the late Hans Peter and Anna Marie (Amundson) Jensen. She was married to Solo Himberg and he preceded her in death in 1952. Evelyn later married Bert Minder and he preceded her in death. She lived in Tomahawk, Wis., coming from Tripoli in 1980. She had also lived in Merrill, Wis. for 20 years. Evelyn worked for more than five years for Semling and Menke in Merrill, retiring in 1974. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Florence. Evelyn is survived by three sons, Wayne, Allen and Dale; a daughter, Delores Grunewald; three granddaughters; four great-grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great nephews. She was preceded by a daughter, Dianne Lynne Krueger in 1973. Visitation will be held Monday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Florence, Wis. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the church. Rev. Doug Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Rock Falls, Wis.
