Florence: Evelyn Margaret DeMark, age 93, of Florence, Wisconsin, died Sunday, April 4, 2004, at Florence Villa Nursing Center in Florence, Wisconsin. She was born December 24, 1910, in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Leon and Pauline (Miska) Pelkey. She grew up in Stevens Point. She worked at the A & P Grocery Store as a clerk for fourteen years in Chicago. In 1946 she married Ernest De Mark in Crystal Falls, Michigan. He preceded her in death in 1983. She worked for an Electronics Company and also The Trading Post gas station in Florence, for many years. Evelyn is survived by several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Ernest, she was preceded in death by seven brothers, and two sisters. A Memorial service will be held April 23, at 1:30p.m. at the Florence Villa Nursing Center in Florence. Sister Marla Clercx will officiate. Burial will be is St. Mary's Cemetery.
