Eva Romagnoli, 92, of Iron Mountain, passed away Friday, April 13, 2007, at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, Iron Mountain. She was born March 9, 1915, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Vincenzo and Bifena (Pasure) Spigarelli. She married Dino Romagnoli. He preceded her in death, June 1971. Eva excelled in all sports including baseball, basketball, cross country skiing, bowling, and in her later years was an avid golfer. She owned and operated Eve's Beauty Salon for over 60 years. Eva introduced Merle Norman beauty products to the area and operated Merle Norman Cosmetics and Beauty Salon for 10 years. She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Iron Mountain, and a constant attendee at the Carmelite Monastery where she cultivated a beautiful friendship with the sisters through her generosity and concern. Survivors include one son, Dean (Suzie) Romagnoli, Iron Mountain; one sister, Lena Fiorucci, Iron Mountain; six grandchildren, Dino (Tammy) Romagnoli, Nick (Jill) Romagnoli, Nita (George) Wydetic, Lisa (Kevin) Campbell, Christine (Kevin) Lyons, Reno (Jackie) Romagnoli; six great-grandchildren, Justin Murphy, Nels Romagnoli-Maule, Tia Romagnoli, Bruce Romagnoli, Meghan Campbell, Dominic Romagnoli; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Dino, she was preceded in death by one son, Bruce Romagnoli; one brother Buck Spigarelli; four sisters, Nina Bafile, Ada Romagnoli, Ann Goulette, and Alda Bartolameolli. Visitation will be Monday, April 16, 2007 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. The funeral service will be 11: 00 AM at the funeral home. Fr. Sean Kopczynski, of the Carmelite Monastery, will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park , Iron Mountain. Pall bearers will be Reno Romagnoli, Nick Romagnoli, Dino Romagnoli, John Fiorucci, Nick Simone Jr., and Larry Bartolameolli.
