Florence: Ethel E. Johnson, age 88, of Florence, Wisconsin passed away early Thursday morning, June 26, 2003 at the Florence Villa Nursing Home in Florence, Wisconsin. Ethel was born July 13, 1914 in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Matt and Elsie (Peronto) Yingling. Ethel was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church of Florence, Wisconsin. She was honored as a Super Senior for her many years of dedicated service. Ethel enjoyed flowers, spending time with her friends, fishing and her dog, Tessa. She was preceded in death by her husband Eirling Johnson and two brothers, Norbert and Milton Yingling. She is survived by neices and nephews. A Memorial will be established to Dickinson County Lifeline and to the Sisters of the Carmelite Monastery in her memory. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2003 from 11:30 until 12:00 noon at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Florence, Wisconsin. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 noon at the church. Fr. Michael Betley will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Kaukauna, Wisconsin.
