Kingsford:
Emma Julia Bartolameolli, age 88, of 1895 Pyle Drive, Kingsford, died, Friday, December 26, 2003, at Freeman's Convalescent Home in Kingsford, Michigan.
She was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan, on March 3, 1915, the daughter of the late Settimo and Madeline (Ortalda) Brosio. She attended Iron Mountain high school and graduated in 1933. Emma married Max Bartolameolli July, 1936. He preceded her in death in 1991. She loved her family and loved to read to her grandchildren. She enjoyed baking, cooking, playing cards, flowers and feeding the birds. Emma was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Emma is survived by one son, Edward (Lucy) Bartolameolli of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, one sister, Mary Broullire, two grandchildren Mark (Kris) Bartolameolli, and Lisa (Angelo) Pacini, and five great grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband Max, Emma was preceded in death by one brother Domenic Brosio, and four sisters Ann Zaio, Caroline Querio, Margaret Erickson, and Antonette Bugni.
Visitation will be Monday, December 29, 2003, from 6 – 8p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, December 30, 2003, at 11:00a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, in Iron Mountain. Msgr. James Kaczmarek will officiate. Burial will be in Cemetery Park.
