Elorine M. Watson, 98, of Kingsford, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2007, at ManorCare Health Services, Kingsford. She was born April 5, 1909, in Harris, Mich., daughter of the late Willard and Lena (Douglas) French. On November 16, 1929, in Iron Mountain, she married Samuel Watson. He preceded her in death on May 15, 1969. Elorine was a member of American Martyrs Catholic Church, Kingsford. She worked for Esser Paint and Glass Co., and was also a volunteer at the Breen Senior Center and the Iron Mountain Senior Center. Elorine hunted until she was 84 years old, which she loved dearly. She also enjoyed fishing. She is survived by two daughters, Ramona Faye (John) Villeneuve, Tuscon, Ariz., Judie (James) Cavalieri, Kingsford; one sister, Donna (Wayne) Peterson, Kingsford; four grandchildren, Roger Villeneuve, Linda (Randy) Klockow, Dawn (Jim) Polkinghorne, Michael (Kammi) Cavalieri; and eight great-grandchildren, Andy, Nicholas, Cheyne, Elorine, Emilee, Jennifer, Jordan, and Jaidyn. A memorial mass will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at American Martyrs Catholic Church. Fr. Joseph Gouin will officiate. Inurnment will be at Dickinson County Memorial Gardens, Iron Mountain.
