Pembine: Ella Mae Stepkowski, age 62, beloved wife of Edwin J. Stepkowski, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2006, at Dickinson County Healthcare System in Iron Mountain, Mich. Survivors include her three children, Lou Anne (Greg) Ciske, Bernard Swiercz, and Jody Swiercz; two brothers, Jack Polack and Russell Polack; and eight grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, Cody, Paul, Derek, Preston, Tyler, and Machaela. Ella was preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Luella (Sullivan) Polack, and a brother Cecil Polack. Visitation will be Thursday, May 4, 2006, from 9:30a.m. until 11:30a.m. at the Max Sass & Sons Funeral Home, 1515 W. Oklahoma Avenue, Milwaukee, Wis. Funeral services will be Thursday 11:30a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
