Elizabeth "Betty" M. Romagnoli, 81, of Iron Mountain, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at ManorCare Health Services, Kingsford. She was born January 18, 1929, in Wakefield, Mich., daughter of the late Joseph and Jenny(Delmet) Picoldi. Betty married Wallace Romagnoli on May 10, 1948 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Wakefield; he preceded her in death on July 3, 2005. Wallace and Betty lived a short period of time in Wakefield before moving to Iron Mountain in 1955. Betty was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Iron Mountain. She enjoyed cooking and loved spending time with family and friends. Her great sense of humor and compassion for others will never be forgotten. She is survived by a daughter, Gail (David) Machus; a son, Guy (Julie) Romagnoli; three grandchildren, Gina (Brad Mick, friend), Brian (Kate Noffke, fiancee), Mark; one brother, Charles Picoldi, Wakefield; a sister-in-law, Margaret Picoldi, Wakefield; many nieces and nephews; two very special life-long friends, Adele Bishop, Gladstone, Marie Cormier, Wakefield. Betty was preceded in death by one brother, Leroy Picoldi; a sister-in-law, Geraldine Picoldi; two nephews, Joseph Picoldi and Robert Picoldi.
