Crystal Falls- Elizabeth "Betsy" A. Hagberg, 72, of Alpha, Mich., passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Iron River Care Center, Iron River, Mich. She was born August 3, 1948, in Crystal Falls, Mich., daughter of the late Emil and Anne (Green) Hill. Betsy grew up in Crystal Falls and graduated from Crystal Falls High School. She went on to attend trade school. She was united in marriage to Roger Hagberg. He preceded her in death in 1983. Betsy worked as the director for the Crystal Falls Senior Center and was a member of the Alpha Senior Center, the Glacial Master Gardeners, the DAV Auxiliary, and was a lifetime member of the VFW Crystal Falls. A graveside service will be announced in the spring. Burial will be in Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain, Mich.
