Obituary

Crystal Falls: Eleanor Klima, age 90, of Alpha, died March 5, 2004, at the Crystal Manor Nursing Home in Crystal Falls, Michigan. She was born on October 21, 1913, in the Dunn Mine Location, the daughter of the late Albert and Stella (Hojnacki) Klima. She graduated from Alpha High School, and then moved to Chicago. There she met and married Joe Boehm in 1949. He preceded her in death. She worked for many years at Sears Department Store. She moved back to Alpha in 1977. She was a member of the former St. Edward's Catholic Church in Alpha. Eleanor loved to garden. She also took special care of her nieces and nephews. She is survived by three brothers; Ed of Crystal Falls, Frank of Virginia, MN, and Stanley (Mary Ellen) of North Olmstead, OH, three sisters; Mary Stanek of Crystal Falls, Jean (Ed) Musial of Chicago, IL, and Nancy (Bob) Horansky of Rocky River, OH, and many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, Eleanor was preceded in death by three brothers; Albert, Walter, and Leonard and one sister Violet Miller. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 09, 2004, from 6:00- 8:00P.M. at the Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home in Crystal Falls. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, March 10, at the Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Crystal Falls. Fr. Ray Zeugner will officiate. Spring burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
