Niagara- Elaine M. Martin, 94, of Niagara, Wis., passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich. She was born October 11, 1926, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Louis and Ruth (Hicks) Sentko. Elaine married Leonard "Buck" Martin Sr. on October 28, 1944 at the United Methodist Church, Iron Mountain. They were married for over 55 years and resided in Iron Mountain and East Kingsford before moving to Niagara. Buck preceded her in death on February 27, 2000. Elaine worked for General Controls in Iron Mountain for many years and was the oldest parishioner of Riverside United Methodist Church in Niagara. Her hobbies included going to the casino, playing bingo, and volunteering at the church. Elaine especially loved the time spent with family and friends. She will be remembered for her bubbly personality and infectious laugh. Survivors include one son, Leonard (Kathy) Martin Jr., Aurora, Wis.; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband Buck, Elaine was preceded in death by two daughters, Melody (Dan) Butler and Marilyn Aderman; one granddaughter, Nancy Morin.; and one great-grandson, Lance Martin.
