Obituary

Egnatz Louis Bara, age 84, of Crystal Falls, died Sunday, December 18, 2005 at the Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls. He was born January 12, 1921 son of the late Peter and Mary (Halerz) Bara. Egnatz worked for Inland Steel at the Bristol Mine and at Black River Falls as a heavy equipment operator. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater and was a member of the Alpha - Mastodon Post No. 7569 Veterans of Foreign War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and spending time with his family. Survivors include six sisters, Nellie Novey, Alpha, Helen Opolka, Iron Mountain, Agnes Bjork, Alpha, Vicky Zini, Iron Mountain, Pauline Sypal, Glenn Ellyn, Ill., Dorothy Dunbar, Wilkes-Barre, Penn.; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Louis Bara, and two sisters, Ann Manko and Patricia Skibo. As per Egnatz' request there will be no services.
