Edwin E. Noblet, 74, Crystal Falls, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011, at Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls.
He was born August 7, 1936, in Amasa, son of the late Edlore and Esther (Swan) Noblet. On June 15, 1957, he married Beverly Engstrom. She survives.
Ed was a retired forester for Ned Lake Timber and Land Company. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, music, playing the guitar, and being at his cabin in Amasa. Ed had a great sense of humor and was a loving husband and wonderful father and brother.
Survivors include, his wife, Beverly Noblet, Crystal Falls; one son, Steve (Krista) Noblet, Crystal Falls; three daughters, Julie (Rich Harju) Noblet, Iron River, Beth (Don Rick) Santi, Brenda (Gary) Willman, both of Crystal Falls; nine grandchildren, Cole Noblet, Felycia Noblet, Josie Noblet, Michelle Trewartha, Jesse Santi, Josh Santi, Gary Willman, Heather (Keil) Ross, Jeffery Willman; five great-grandchildren, Zach, Hannah, Laura Lee, Landon, Devynn; two sisters, June (Ellis) Miller, Iron River, Beverly (Don) Peterson, Crystal Falls; other relatives and friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Eleanore Menhenick, Ruth Gustavson, and Norma Noblet.
Visitation will be 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2011, at Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Rev. Jeffrey Kurtz will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls. Following the burial family and friends will gather in the hall at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls.
Pallbearers include, Bill Hautala, Tom Hoenig, Cole Noblet, Jeff Willman, Josh Santi, and Brian Peterson; with honorary pallbearers being, Jesse Santi and Gary Willman II.
