Edward "Eddie" Nelson, 60, of Kenosha, formerly of Pembine, passed away Wednesday April 10, 2013, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich.
Eddie was born on September 22, 1952, in Ishpeming, Mich., the son of Harold and Jeanette (Michell) Nelson. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha. Eddie married Susan Daniels on May 17, 1975, in Kenosha, they later divorced.
He was employed as a forklift operator at Young Radiator in Racine and Jantz Automotive for many years. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, riding his four wheelers, cheering for the Packers, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his granddaughter.
Eddie is survived by his daughter, Vicky (Lucas) McDowell, Kenosha; his mother, Jeanette Hupp, Kenosha; brothers, Gerry (Donna) Hupp, Kenosha, Thomas (Penny) Hupp, Kenosha; sisters, Nancy (Tony) Myers, Green Bay, Christine (Patrick) Koski, Kenosha, Ann (Richard) Seng, Racine, Patty (John) Bella, Kenosha; a granddaughter, Mardy McDowell; his ex-wife, Susan Thorpe; a longtime friend, Sonja; an uncle, Rob Michell; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold; step-father, Marvin; and a sister, Wendy Sprague.
A greeting time with the family will be held on Wednesday April 17, 2013, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 3-5:00 p.m. with memorial services to follow at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
