Edith Weiss, nee Occhietti, 94, of Iron Mountain, Mich., passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019, at ManorCare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Kingsford, Mich. She was born April 27, 1925, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Constantino and Philomena (Pellegrini) Occhietti, the youngest of 10 children. Edith graduated from Iron Mountain High School Class of 1943. She recently attended and helped in the planning of her 75th class reunion. Edith married Anton "Tony" Weiss and he preceded her in death on December 28, 1995. She was very active in the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Elks Lodge over the years. Edith loved entertaining and gathering with friends at her home. In addition to her parents and husband Anton, Edith was preceded by many siblings. Visitation will be Friday, December 6, 2019, 9:30 a.m.- 11:00 a.m., Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain. Funeral Services will be held Friday 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
