Obituary

Earl Henry "Mad Dawg" Biller, 68, of Florence passed away Friday, October 3, 2014, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain. He was born June 20, 1946, in Chicago, Ill. son of the late Francis and Violet (Berg) Biller. Earl grew up in Chicago where he excelled playing high school and college football. He married Norma Gehrke and she along with her daughter, Deborah Jackowiack preceded him in death. Earl later married Patricia Fisher and she preceded him in death on April 4, 2011. He resided on the North West side of Chicago and he worked for S & C Electric Company as a Supervisor for many years. In 2006, he retired and moved to Keyes Lake, Florence. His passion for football found him coaching the youth for years. Earl enjoyed archery shooting, volunteering his time at fishing derbies, acting as Santa Claus and putting in many hours at the Golden Living Center. Earl was a member of the K.A.M.O. Florence. Earl is survived by one son, Ken (Christine) Biller, Dundee, Ill; five step-sons, Kenneth (Laura) Grelck, Morrisville N.C., Dennis Grelck, Kenosha, Wis., Steven (Karen) Grelck, Lemont Ill., Brian (Linda) Grelck, Hoffman Estates, Ill., and Mathew Grelck, MSGT, US Air Force; two daughters, Victoria (Ray) Adamson, Hanover Park, Ill. and Joyce Jackowiack, Hanover Park, Ill.; one brother, Bruce (Sandy) Biller; four grandchildren, Christopher, Stephen and Kyle Biller and Carissa Adamson; one great-grandson, many cousins and numerous special friends, whom he met over the years, in the Florence area. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Family and friends will be notified once arrangements are complete. The family has chosen the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain to honor Earl's Legacy of Life.
