Dylan Ball, 19, of Crystal Falls, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 27, 2010, at his home. He was born November 10, 1990, in Iron Mountain, Mich., son of Kimberly Ann Ball. Dylan grew up in Crystal Falls and Iron Mountain and attended school in Kingsford and Crystal Falls. Dylan loved playing video games, listening to music, skate boarding, paintballing, four-wheeling, swimming, and spending time with his friends. He enjoyed deer hunting with his "Pup", Uncle Aaron, and step-dad, Dylan. He especially loved rough housing and playing with his little brothers, and most of all, Dylan loved to make people laugh. He is survived by his mother, Kimberly Ann (Roy Groleau) Ball, Norway; step-father, Dylan Geronimi, Kingsford; two brothers, Evan and Ayden Geronimi; grandparents, James and Kathy Ball, Crystal Falls; grandparents, Pat and Marion Carlotto, Crystal Falls; grandmother, Rosemary Geronimi, Iron Mountain; great-grandmother, JoAnn Harju, Crystal Falls; great-grandmother, Geraldine Carlotto, Crystal Falls; one uncle, Aaron (Natalie Simbob) Ball, Negaunee, Mich.; one aunt, Dedrie (Bob) Tekari, Kingsford; special cousins, Freddie Hubbard, Crystal Falls, Olivia Marie Ball; many other loving aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins; many close friends in the surrounding areas; and his favorite buddy "Blue" his dog. Dylan was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Pauline and Walter Ball, Sr.; great-grandpa, Oliver Harju; and great-grandpa, Judge Carlotto. Visitation will be Friday, October 1, 2010, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Jacobs-Plowe Funeral Home, Crystal Falls, where a parish prayer service will be held 7:30 p.m. Prayers will be recited 9:30 a.m., Saturday, October 2, 2010, at the funeral home. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Crystal Falls. Rev. Jeffrey Kurtz will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Crystal Falls. A memorial will be established in Dylan's memory.
