Iron Mountain – Dorothy G. Spera, 93, of Iron Mountain passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Golden Living Center, Florence, WI. Dorothy was born on May 18, 1923 in Loretto, Mich. daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy (Franz) Clements. She grew up in and graduated from Iron Mountain High School. Dorothy married Alfred "Fritz" Spera on July 4, 1947 in Manistique, Mich. He preceded her in death on September 14, 2013. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, her card club, going to the casino and spending time at their cottage on Hamilton Lakes. Dorothy along with her husband were active members of the Norway Moose Lodge. She is survived by 26 nieces and nephews, several cousins and many great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband Fritz, Dorothy was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law Marjorie (Leno) Alexander. Graveside services will be Friday, August 26, 2016 at 9:30 AM at Cemetery Park, Iron Mountain.
