Dorothy Lee Kosky, 87, of Iron River, passed away Friday, December 18, 2009, at Northstar Health System, Iron River. She was born November 8, 1922, in Logansport, Indiana, daughter of the late Walker and Nancy (McIntosh) Spicer. Dorothy was a resident of the Hagerman Lake area until she married Jess William Kosky on September 2, 1950. He preceded her in death in May 2006. The couple resided on West U.S. Highway 2, Iron River Township. Dorothy was a graduate of Stambaugh High School Class of 1941. She attended McDonough Business School and worked at the Iron River National Bank and later the Central School until her retirement. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Dorothy enjoyed handwork projects and crossword puzzels. Survivors include one sister, Ruth Kassa; a nephew, Brian Kassa, both of Iron River; one sister-in-law, Lila Kosky, and a number of cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jess Kosky, and her nephew, George Kassa.
