Florence – Dorothy Mae Hess, 80, of Florence, Wisc., passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at her home.

She was born on April 20, 1943, in Meyerstown, Penn., to the late Dennis Haag and Mae (Achey) Crespo.

She grew up in Meyerstown and graduated from Meyerstown High School, class of 1961. She married the love of her life, Bill Hess, in Meyerstown on December 7, 1963.

She is survived by her loving husband of sixty years, Bill Hess; son, Bill Hess, Jr.; daughters, Sherry Weaver, and Nancy Wolfskill; brothers, Ronnie (Lucy) Crespo, and Ricky (Alberta) Crespo; eleven grandchildren, Billy Hess III, Patricia Hess, Victoria Hess, Robert L. Weaver III, Ashlie Stoner, Korey T. Weaver, Britney Feliciano, Haley Wolfskill, Ginger Wolfskill, Shawn Miller, and Brandy Miller; and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

In accordance with Dorothy's wishes, no formal services will be held.
