Florence: Dorothy R. Dollar, age 74, of Florence, Wisconsin, died Wednesday, December 3, 2003, at Dickinson County Hospital in Iron Mountain, Michigan. Dorothy was born in Iron Mountain, Michigan, on June 2, 1929, daughter of the late Resa and Clara (Noyes) DeMark. She was a graduate of Florence High School. Dorothy married Frank Dollar, August 30, 1947, in Waukegan, Illinois. During Frank's duty with the military service, they lived in Europe, Missouri, Nebraska, and moved back to Florence in 1955. Dorothy was employed at The State Bank of Florence over twenty years and retired from there. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and also a member of the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed golfing, landscaping, and going to the children's sporting events. She loved to cook and take care of her family and home. She is survived by her husband Frank, one daughter Linda Dollar, a grandson Trever Dollar and Jennifer, two great-grandchildren Dillon and Cole, two sisters Betty DeGrave and Marie (Larry) Gunville, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by a brother Toby De Mark. A private visitation was held.
