Channing-Dennis E. Daleen, age 92, of Channing, Mich., passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at Jacobetti Home for Veterans, Marquette, Mich.

He was born October 14, 1926, in Hibbing, Minn., son of the late Ernest H. and Helen (Gustafson) Daleen. Dennis graduated Cass Tech High School in Detroit. He worked for Strohs Brewing Company in Detroit for 30 years, retiring in 1984. Following his retirement, he moved to Felch and in 2004 moved to Channing. He was united in marriage to Ruth Wagner on July 22, 1951, in Detroit. She preceded him in death on April 5, 2007.

Dennis enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his daughters, Linda (Ron) Coop, Flat Rock, Mich. and Lois Daleen, Channing, Mich.; grandchildren, Ernie (Yvette) Vroman, Dawn Vroman, and Dennis (Cindy) Rice; and great-grandchildren, Aaron Rice, Ileina Vroman, Rebecca Vroman, Zachary Vroman and Tarisa McLaughlin.

In accordance with Dennis' wishes, private family services will be held.
