Florence- Dedra A. Eager, 73, of Florence, Wisc., passed away Monday, May 20, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay, Wisc.

She was born January 26, 1951, in Kankakee, Ill., daughter of the late David Pralle and Dorothy (Rettell) Crawford.

Dedra grew up in Kankakee and graduated from Kankakee High School. She married Terry Eager on March 14, 1981, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. They resided in Florida for several years before settling in Florence in 1993.

Dedra worked for Sunset Kennels and enjoyed spending time with children and animals.

Survivors include her loving husband, Terry Eager; one son, Terry Eager Jr.; two daughters, Stacy Haack and Teresa Eager; three grandsons, Alex, Nick, and Lee; two great-granddaughters, Octavia and Oliviana; six brothers, Gary, Leslie, Andy, Keith, Kenneth, and Rick; and five sisters, Audrey, Kathy, Dora, Joann, and Charlotte.

In addition to her parents, Dedra was preceded in death by her adopted father, Marvin Gurley, and one sister, Gale.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at W7925-3 South Lake Antoine Road, Iron Mountain, Mich.
