Iron Mountain- Debra "Debbie" L. Jump, 63, of Aurora, Wis., passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee, Wis. She was born April 7, 1958, in Ishpeming, Mich., daughter of the late Sulo and Margaret (Sullivan) Ritola. Debbie grew up in Republic, Mich., and was a graduate of Republic High School, class of 1976. Following high school, she moved to Iron Mountain, Mich. She worked as an EMT, a nursing assistant and as a surgical housekeeper until she retired. She gave 31 years of service at the VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain. Following her retirement, she continued to waitress at the T&T Supper Club in Aurora, Wis. Debbie was an active member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Iron Mountain Mich. Debbie enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and friends, and especially her grandchildren, whom she cherished. She was a generous, caring person and could always be counted on in difficult times. Debbie will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. She will be remembered for her love and caring kindness to all of us. What a gift she was to all who had the pleasure to be part of her life on this earth. She is in the presence of the Lord now. Survivors include two sons, Brandon (Lydia Ohlsen) Jump, Kingsford, Mich., and Bradey (Abbey Ohlsen) Jump, Arlington, Virginia; one daughter, Britany LaFave, Kingsford, Mich.; one brother, Daryl Ritola, Republic, Mich.; two sisters, Christy (Charlie) Dillon, Witch Lake, Mich., and Tammy (Troy) Brancheau, Republic, Mich.; and by four grandchildren, Mackenzie Grace, Carter, Carsen, and Aletta. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 5, 2022, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Iron Mountain. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at the church. Pastor Paul Strom will officiate. Burial will be in Republic Cemetery in the spring. A memorial will be established in Debbie's memory.
