Kingsford- Deborah J. Baker, 62, of Kingsford, Mich., passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021, at Dickinson County Healthcare System, Iron Mountain, Mich. She was born July 15, 1959, in Wheatland, Wyoming, daughter of the late James and Donna (Throckmorton) Richie. Deborah grew up in Waldport, Oregon, and was a graduate of Waldport High School, class of 1977. She married James Baker in August of 1982. He preceded her in death in August of 2000. Deborah was known to be called a domestic goddess and a caretaker for many. Survivors include one son, T. J. (Jenny) Baker, Coquille, Oregon; one daughter, Jenny (Luke) Baker-Huotari, Kingsford, Mich.; one brother, Larry (Cindy) Richie, McMinnville, Oregon; one sister, Teresa (Robert) Nowak, Iron Mountain, Mich.; and four grandchildren, Nikki Baker, Chloe Baker, Colton Houtari, and Alice Wartick.
