Florence-Dawn M. Merhalski, age 54, of Florence, Wis., passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018, at her home.

She was born July 20, 1964, in Iron Mountain, Mich., daughter of the late Anthony and Jerilyn (Sundberg) Merhalski. Dawn grew up in Florence and was a graduate of Florence High School, Class of 1982. After graduation she proudly served in the United States Air Force.

Dawn loved the outdoors, hiking, fishing and her Pit Bull dogs.

Survivors include her sister, Jodi (Brenda Larch) Herman; two brothers, Anthony (Vicky Duncan) Merhalski and Michael (Chevonne) Merhalski, all of Florence, Wis.; one nephew, Austin Herman; two nieces, Jacilyn (Steve) Herman-Meinol and Tessa Merhalski; one aunt, Beth Stream, Panama City, Florida; many cousins; and cherished dear friends, Peggy Hetzer, Jean Clarke and Lisa Witynski.

In accordance with Dawns wishes, private family services will be held.
