David J. Wilson, 80, of Iron Mountain passed away, Monday, August 4, 2014, at his home.
He was born January 24, 1934, in Battle Creek, Mich., son of the late Donald and Dorothy Wilson.
David grew up in Midland, Mich. and graduated from high school there. He married Sandra Terrel on June 1, 1954, in Midland. David worked for Topam Printing in Saginaw, Mich. as a Commercial Artist for 20 years, retiring in 1999. They moved to Iron Mountain in 2010.
He enjoyed computers, writing and studying Civil War history. David's family was most important to him.
David is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Sandra; two sons, Michael (Jane) Wilson, Sagola, Mich. and Mark (Karen) Wilson, Freeland, Mich.; one daughter Julie Arnold, Midland; nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
In accordance with David's wishes a Celebration of Life Service will be held.
The family has chosen the Jacobs Funeral Home, Iron Mountain to honor David's Legacy of Life.
